Bristol Festival of Nature
Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, the Bristol Festival of Nature brings together over 150 organisations to Bristol’s historic Harbourside for the UK’s largest free celebration of the natural world.
Dig up dinosaurs, take a behind the scenes look at wildlife filmmaking, and get up close with everything from bugs to birds. With interactive activities from leading organisations including BBC Natural History Unit, National Trust and Bristol Zoo, live entertainment, animal encounters, famous faces, a market packed with local food and much more, the Festival brings the natural world to the heart of the city, promising a wild weekend for the whole family!
In 2013, we will be launching our new outreach programme, Bristol.99, bringing wildlife events to Bristol's 99 best sites for nature. Look out for full details of our citywide calendar of events, starting with the Bristol BioBlitz at Kings Weston estate on 3rd/4th May.
