Bristol Volksfest is a traditional Volkswagen show and family camping weekend. If you are a VW driver (or just a fan) air cooled or watercooled, whatever the generation, this is the place for you. With a weekend of camping, day visitors are more than welcome to visit on Saturday and/or Sunday. We have a full programme of events centered around everything VW and more. Naturally, there's a show and shine, displays, trade village, entertainment etc. Heritage Bristol Volkswagen Weekend is one of three shows organised by the same dedicated group - the others are VanWest and Oktoberfest.

Bon Jovi will be returning to Bristol to perform live at Ashton Gate Stadium on Monday, June 27th 2011. After rocking a packed stadium back in 2008, one of the World's greatest live rock and roll bands, Bon Jovi are heading out on tour again next summer as part of their worldwide Circle Tour Bon Jovi are renowned for delivering state of the art stage shows, electric performances and mammoth sold out stadium concerts. The legendary rock band - lead by namesake Jon Bon Jovi - are making just five stops on their UK leg of the tour and Bristol is sure to prove popular in the South West and Wales. Successful throughout the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, Bon Jovi have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide. With hits including Livin' on a Prayer, You Give Love a Bad Name and Wanted Dead or Alive, Bon Jovi are a huge concert draw around the world. Managing director Doug Harman told ashtongatestadium.co.uk: "Bon Jovi fans still talk of the fantastic show we saw at Ashton Gate in 2008 and their Circle Tour promises to be an even bigger and better production. "The band had only four tour dates in the UK during 2011 - Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Dublin and we're delighted they've now agreed to add a West Country date for next June. "We expect tickets to sell very quickly during the lead up to Christmas and would urge fans to buy early to avoid disappointment."
