Dulwich Cricket Club
Dulwich Cricket Club, established in 1867, is one of the leading cricket clubs in south London. We play competitive Surrey Championship Cricket at the highest level – we have three teams in their respective Premier Leagues – and have a fifth and sixth eleven in the Kent Regional League. We put out seven Saturday teams, 3 Sunday teams and a midweek team. In addition, the club provides a healthy and progressive youth development environment, supported by top quality professional coaching. An interesting history of the club is available here. Last season we launched ladies cricket and we now have two teams playing a mixture of league and friendlies.
One of the key attractions to many members, be they social or players, is the venue. The Club is in the heart of Dulwich Village, in an almost countryside atmosphere, with good local transport, free parking and a genuine family atmosphere.
The Cricket Club is part of Dulwich Sports Club, which also provide thriving facilities for Tennis – all-weather and grass courts, Squash – 4 courts, Croquet – international standard greens as well as the base for Dulwich & Honor Oak Hockey Club.
The Club, like many Clubs, believe that all players must be provided with the best opportunity to enjoy and develop their game. In winter, the Club runs a series of indoor nets. During the season, the Club has formal training and coaching sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays (6.30pm), supported by our own qualified club coaches. The ladies will train on Wednesday evenings.
