www.aber-digs.co.uk, Aberystwyth ,
About: The Abersytwyth Digs Football League is based within Aberystwyth University, and continues to grow each year with more teams wanting to be involved. The League is run voluntarily by the Digs Committee who is elected at the end of the previous season by the Students' Union. For the 2012/13 season, Tony Bickley, Adam Connah and Morgan Nock will act as the Digs Officers. Teams are randomly assigned into one of four simultaneously running leagues. After all fixtures in the leagues are fulfilled, the top teams from each league compete in the playoffs. In addition to the three leagues, all teams are entered into the Aberystywth Town Cup. The cup runs alongside the leagues and the finalists can look forward to playing at Park Avenue, the home of Aberystwyth Town Football Club. Each player must have a valid Aber Uni Sporty Card Number, and they cannot take part until they have one. Sporty Card Numbers are checked by the Officers and Sports Centre staff regularly!
