Established since 1966, Aberystwyth Driving School is a family run business, serving Aberystwyth and it's communities. Aberystwyth Driving School strives to ensure that the highest standard of teaching is given to each and every individual. Steve Griffiths has recently attained his Grade 6 Driving instruction qualification, and along with teaching experience of over 20 years, Steve offers the highest level of tuiton. Steve is an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and also the Driving Instructors Association (DIA).

The Aberystwyth and Ceredigion County Show is an impressive annual agricultural show. This local show attracts many visitors from the surrounding areas, uniting the farming industry and local community. A wide range of events take place from produce and poultry shows through to equestrian. It provides excellent opportunities for local farmers, plant growers, and exhibitors, and is a fun day out that can be enjoyed by all the family. Polly Aberystwyth was founded in 1993 by Polly and Ade Leonard, who first met in the small village of Tregaron in 1984. They began their ventures by attending Bath Antiques market, selling quirky and interesting objects collected along their travels and day to day life. Their business soon began to grow whilst selling and discovering more and more interesting things! The first Polly shop opened in Aberystwyth 18 years ago in 1993.Today, Polly has evolved into three beautiful and individual boutiques, all situated on the same street, featuring Womenswear (including shoes and accessories), giftware and home ware.

Established in 1948 and based on Penglais campus, The Courier is Aberystwyth's student newspaper. The Courier is now part of Aberystwyth Student Media, the integrated student media organisation for students in Aberystwyth.

'Aber Cycle Fest' is a 3 day festival of cycling in the Mid Wales coastal town of Aberystwyth. Starting on Friday evening on May 24th 2013, we host a round of the Tour Series. This city centre televised cycle race sees the UK's top professional cyclists battle it out for an hour around the streets of Aberystwyth on closed roads. We also include races for local schoolchildren, an adult fun race and a race for serious amateurs. On saturday 25th May we host an MTB downhill race on the famous Constitution Hill where the funicular Victorian railway carries the riders to the start line at the very top. This promises to be a fantastic spectator friendly event! Sunday 26th May is the event for the masses! We have rides over three distances for road riders of all abilities - The Tour of Mid Wales sportive. Come and see the county of Ceredigion in all its glory and experience the quiet country roads, spectacular views and challenging terrain to finish your weekend with a real sense of achievement.
