District 1220, Rotary International, comprises 58 clubs with over 2000 members in 4 Counties in the centre of England. The majority of Clubs lie in the counties of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire but there are also clubs in Leicestershire and Staffordshire. The District extends some 60 miles from North to South and about 40 miles from East to West from the Peak District in the North to the Trent Valley in the South. To the East the border is the Vale of Belvoir whilst in the West the border is the brewing town of Burton upon Trent.

The New Kirkcaldy Business Improvement District (BID) Company was renamed "Kirkcaldy4All" in June 2010 is looking to give Kirkcaldy town centre a new direction.

Greener Kirkcaldy helps people to be more environmentally friendly and to save cash on their fuel bills. Our advice centre in Kirkcaldy town centre gives free information and support relevant to you and your home, on energy (saving energy or generating your own), eco-friendly food choices, and greener transport options (from efficient ‘eco-driving’ to cycling and walking). Please come along to take a look around, take home a few leaflets or talk to one of our friendly volunteers. Please get in touch if you are interested in working together or have any suggestions!

The club was established in 1921 and was granted its charter in 1922. Our members are committed to our local area and help and support many groups and organisations in our own community.

KADS is a friendly local amateur dramatic society based in Kirkcaldy, Fife. It has been running for the past 35 years, producing many successful plays, both Full Length and One Act. We currently produce plays twice a year. In September we hold our main production at the Adam Smith Theatre. This play is usually included in the SCDA Full Length Play Festival. In February we produce a selection of plays for the One Act Play Festival. These plays have the potential of going forward to the East of Scotland Division, the Scottish Final and ultimately the British Final. we meet every weds (during school term time) from 5.45 until 7.30pm for primary 1 -7 and until 8.30pm for high school.
