Yoga on The Edge

Yoga on The Edge

Alderley Edge, Alderley Edge ,
A dynamic flow yoga class where we move with the breath, stretch and build up heat within the body. Suitable for all levels this is a challenging class which will leave you feeling toned, relaxed and rejuvenated. Wednesdays 6:30pm to 7:30pm at The Yard, 32 South St. Come on an empty stomach and be prepared to sweat! £7 drop in or £36 for a 6 class pass About Me I first discovered yoga in 2000 when a friend asked me to come along to her first yoga class. I was instantly hooked and was amazed how I left the class on such a high. The positive effects of that first class stayed with me for days. I continued to practise through my pregnancy and yoga became an integral part of my life. In 2007 a valued teacher ‘planted the seed’ and suggested I do a teacher training. Eventually that seed became a reality and I gave up my full time job in Insurance to devote my time to my yoga journey. I completed a Yoga Alliance accredited teacher training with Paul Dallaghan of Centered Yoga. Paul is directly certified by Sri K Pattabhi Jois. My teaching style places a strong emphasis on alignment, sequencing, breath and inner awareness. I have a dedicated daily practise and enjoy the dynamic challenge of Ashtanga Yoga, as well as the positive energy I get from sharing all kinds of yoga with others. I am able to teach a variety of classes & styles of Yoga including Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Hatha Yoga Restorative Yoga Vinyasa Yoga Teaching Qualification Centered Yoga, Thailand, with Paul Dallaghan & Neil Barker Comprehensive training in Yoga Asana (poses), Anatomy, Pranayama, Yogic Philosophy & Ethics. Exceeds the 200 hour requirement for Yoga Alliance accreditation.

Aldershot Model Car Club

Aldershot Model Car Club

St Georges Road, Farnham ,
We have a number of top sponsored drivers as members but strive to create an atmosphere where the novice driver feels comfortable also. This is partly helped by the fact that members can use the track for practice 7 days a week and can also start off in the slower heats. We do encourage new drivers to enter a race meeting as soon as possible, as this is the best way of improving driving skills and to learn racing lines. Club race meetings are on most Sundays now. But check with the race calendar, to be sure before travelling. Although a number of classes are firmly established at race meetings, we are open to new ideas. If you want to race a different class then please ask a committee member. If the class is suitable and the required minimum of 5 drivers is met then there should be no problem (providing there is enough space in the meeting for the heat). For example we now have a class for the increasing popularity of bikes. And have also started a new ECO class with reduced costs and limited speeds for more competitive racing. This is proving very popular. And to keep you all topped up for your racing and to get you through the day, The Food Hut run by Robin, is there for your catering needs. Please browse around our site @ http://aldershotmodelcarclub.net for further information. If you have any questions or suggestions about the Club or this website then please contact the chairman, on the link at the top of our main site. Happy racing !
