The site is located two miles from campus and has excellent links to Newcastle's shops, restaurants and bars via the Metro transport system. There are numerous local shops, pubs and food outlets as well as a large supermarket close by. Accommodation includes: A selection of five- and six-bedroom flats with single en suite rooms and a shared kitchen/lounge area which are ideal for first-year undergraduate students making new friends. All flats have undergone recent refurbishment and offer stylish refrigerators, comfortable sofas and include a flat-screen TV complete with Freeview and TV licence. For families, we offer a selection of two and three-bedroom flats for students with dependent children. The flats are fully furnished with the addition of a washing machine. In the lounge, there are telephone points and Sky (subject to subscription) and Freeview TV connection but students must provide their own TV and licence. For the more mature postgraduate, we have 11 two-bedroom flats which offer large rooms for single student occupancy. There is a separate fully furnished lounge, kitchen and a bathroom which includes a bath and shower.
