Bridlington Advent Beach Huts
Not content with the usual novelty chocolate advent calendar, members of the fresh expression church, St Max's will using the beach huts on the south side of Bridlington to tell the story of the days before Christmas.
This follows the lead of Pioneer Minister Ben Norton who started the tradition 3 years ago.
There will be something different each night, using a giant, life-sized, interactive advent calendar which will offer an interesting and thought provoking look at an up to date story of the lead up to Christmas.
Satrting on saturday 1st then Saturday 8th and 15th before following on every day until Christmas Eve ,between 6.00 and 7.00pm a different local group or artist will take a fresh look at the famous story on the lead up to Christmas day.
The event will be a community event and has already generated an enormous amount of support, it will include local school choirs, music groups, actors, puppet shows, food and much much more. This will be a fantastic way to begin the festive season, fun for all ages and all FREE!
