Meltdown is a new rock/indie club night that takes place every Friday in Scarborough. The club night will consist of rock & indie music, new and old, aswell as delving into various sub genres from time to time. With the addition of competitions and projections the night will have it's own unique feel like no other in the town. Meltdown also hosts band nights once a month on a Friday night. Usually bands are on between 9pm-11pm and then DJ's take over until close at 1am. We try to book various acts of different styles around the rock and indie genres. North Cliff Golf Club, rated by many as the finest course on the coast, is situated 2 miles north of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, on the coastal road to Whitby. Although mainly a parkland course, it does have a cliff top start and finish. Stunning views of both the North Bay and Castle make this James Braid designed course both a delight and a challenge to play at any time of the year.

Scarborough Blues Club We were the first and only dedicated Blues Club in Scarborough and certainly the only club of it's kind on the Yorkshire Coast. We opened for our first gig on Thursday 18th September 2008 and have been going strong ever since. We are a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation run by volunteers but we take great care to be as professional as possible in our advertising, event organisation and all round dedication to promoting the best possible music at an affordable price. We are open every Thursday. Our normal 'Club Nights' host the resident group The Townsend Blues Band with Tom Townsend (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Paul Tilley (Drums), Mark Gordon (Keyboards), Nick Boyes (Bass), with regular special guests. During the day we are a family bar diner, offering Fine Ales and Good Food in the welcoming atmosphere provided by our friendly staff. Either come indoors and take advantage of multi-screened televisions, the free 'X-Box' area and the pool table OR, if the weather allows, use the heated outdoor seating area and watch the world go by. At night we become an entertainment bar offering live music every weekend and some weekday nights during the summer. On other nights, various activities include quiz nights. All customers are welcome to use our large private car park situated behind the pub.
