As the sun sets this quaint market town will be closed to traffic and filled with surprises to delight and entertain the crowds as the traditional lantern parade proceeds from the church and a real life Santa arrives on his sleigh with gifts for the children. Tickets to see him are available from H G Crisp for only £2 Donkey rides, old fashioned fairground attractions, train rides and an amusement arcade turn the town into a magical wonderland, whilst the scent of mince pies, candy floss and mulled wine fills the air and mingles with the sound of carols sung by the local choir.
