Saundersfoot View is a delightful, comfortable, modern and extremely spacious five bedroom house.
Within five to ten minutes walk of the sandy blue flag beaches of the Pembrokeshire harbour village of Saundersfoot and moments from fascinating coastal walks along the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path, Saundersfoot View is ideally located to experience the abundance of outdoor activities that Pembrokeshire has to offer; whether walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, taking a relaxing stroll around the harbour, surfing, lounging on the beach or enjoying a drink.
The elevated position of Saundersfoot View allows for commanding views of the coastline, surrounding countryside and Saundersfoot village. Located in a quiet road, five to ten minutes walk from Saundersfoot beach, harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs.
The house has five bedrooms, four on the first floor with the cabin room accessed via the master bedroom - an ideal family suite option. The master bedroom is provided with a king size bed, the blue room, garden room and the cabin room are roomy double bedrooms. The fifth bedroom on the ground floor in the annex contains a twin bed. There is a generous number of four bathrooms incorporating three showers and two baths; with the master bedroom having an ensuite with a bath and overhead shower, the family bathroom upstairs with bath and shower, the ground floor has a toilet and the bedroom in the annex has an ensuite with a shower. Large bath towels and hand towels provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking implements and tools as well as a microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The kitchen extendable table provides seating for eight. The adjoining utility room has a washing machine a tumble dryer.
The lounge is a spacious and comfortable room with countryside views, it has the benefit of a gas fire to provide additional heat and provide a warm glow to settle settle down to on a winters evening. The lounge also has a television and DVD player.
The downstairs annex has a sitting room with a television and PS3, an ideal room to use as a childrens den or space for teenagers to escape to.
A selection of DVDs, PS3 games and books are available for your leisure. High speed Internet access and Wifi is available.
The house is a great location for the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, scenic cycle rides (both road and off road routes) and fabulous beach walks. There is an OS map of the area in the house and a collection of suggestions for cycle and run routes. through quiet countryside and coastal paths. Whether you wish to take on the Pembrokeshire Iron Man route or a more sedate stroll or cycle there are routes for everyone.
The village of Saundersfoot has some hidden treasures and good value restaurants. Our favourite restaurants are the buzzy atmospheric Australian themed KooKaBa, the Mermaid with its superb views over the beach and harbour, the friendly family run Dragon Palace a short drive out of the village is a chinese charm. There are a wealth of pubs, tea rooms, coffee and wine bars and a nightclub. The village has an array of shops; clothing, surf and beach wear shops, gift shops and the value of supermarket food shopping with a Tesco metro and Spar.
The local attractions in and around Saundersfoot include fishing trips off Saundersfoot harbour, the historic seaside town of Tenby with additional stunning beaches, Caldey Island and Monastery, Pembroke Castle, the exceptional lily ponds of Bosherston, the Cathedral city of St Davids, Laugharne famed for Dylan Thomas and the Boathouse and Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to name a few.
Many activities and courses are available in the local area including; boat trips and fishing trips, an extensive variety of watersports, sea kayaking, sailing, horse riding and tennis. The Pembrokeshire Ironman cycle route goes through Saundersfoot and the run route is just a mile from the house. Additional activities and trips for children are Folly farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor Park wildlife Park.
