Petworth Wedding Car Hire

Petworth Wedding Car Hire

My car is a Black & Cream 1954 Riley RME with Cinnamon leather seats and is a much loved 59 year old – born the same year as me !! The car is available for a limited number of weddings each year and looks fantastic with Ribbons and with me driving dressed in 1950's sporting style (tweeds) or a smart suit ! The service offered is • to collect the Bride & Brides father from the pickup point to the venue ( car arrives 15 minutes before the agreed departure time) • To allow plenty of time for photos of the arrival in liaison with the photographer • To wait until the conclusion of the formalities • To allow plenty of time for Photos of the bride & groom after the ceremony in liaison with the photographer • Option to take the Bride & groom for a short ( normally 10- 15 minute) drive to “ unwind /relax” talk for a few minutes and then return to the venue ( if required) • A small bottle of champagne for the bride & groom ( with glasses) can be provide at an extra cost- cost depends on your wishes This fabulous service is normally for a maximum of 2-3 hours from the Bride & father pick up & the end of the short ride ( if required). Notes: • Confetti can damage or stain the fabric /exterior of the historic vehicle and is not allowed inside or too close to the car ! • Drinks & wine spillages can stain the interior of the car (& your clothes too) so we stop for that and ask you not to eat/drink anything on the move please ! • As this is a historic vehicle we recommend that a standby car ( guest or relative) with a ribbon ( we can supply the ribbon free) is ready at the pickup point in case there is a mechanical problem – it almost never happens but it tempts fate not to be prepared. We can provide this standby car if nothing is available within your group. Pricing- subject to an agreed itinerary the service I offer is in the range £200 – £350+ with the higher cost usually enough to include the drive and /or ”champagne / sparkling wine” option depending on what you want . Should you just wish for a simple pick up / drop off the price is about £195 just for the Bride & fathers journey, with only a very short photo call time allowed for on arrival at the venue.(max 5 minutes) The Wedding car booking is subject to a prepayment.
