Carmarthen Bay Film Festival is all about encouraging and supporting independent film and cinema here in Wales the UK and Internationally. Our 2nd festival was a big successes with over 65 films entered and screened over 4 days at the 4 star Stradey Park Hotel,Llanelli,Wales.The festival was also a big hit with the attending film makers who had traveled from all over the UK and US to support fellow film makers. The festivals audience was also very impressed with the diversity and quality of this years films with attendance rising from last years by over 200% This festival is all about being open and fair with an independent judging panel made up of professional well respected film and television writers and critics . The festival is not about making vast amounts of money off the backs of film makers, but giving them the opportunity to have there films screened and judge fairly. We operate as a not for profit community group. Which basically means all money from submissions and sponsorship goes towards making the festival bigger and better year on year.
