The College of West Anglia will be delivering the National Citizenship Service from June 6th 2013. It is a three week course which involves two weeks away from home taking part in a wide range of outdoor and team building activities, meeting influential individuals in our communities and completing a social action project.
Week One will see you throwing yourself into exciting new challenges at Mepal Activity Centre in Ely. You will spend four nights and five days getting to know 45 young people from all areas of Norfolk and participating in activities such as climbing, kayaking, sailing, abseiling, high ropes course and raft building to name a few. In Week Two you will spend another four nights and five days away from home but now in single en-suite accomodation in The Birches at CITB Construction College, Bircham Newton. Here you will have a wide range of sports and fitness facilities readily available, take part in team building activities that will stretch each of your capabilities and meet influential people/organisations that make a difference in your community.
