Folkestone Zombie Walk

Folkestone Zombie Walk

Folkestone Zombie Walk is an annual event brought to you by Planet Folkestone. Now in our 3rd year, we would like to invite you to crawl through the streets of Folkestone this October to raise money for East Kent Hospitals. People of all ages, young and old, are welcome to dress up and have fun. As Planet Folkestone, we also held our first May the 4th be with Us - Folkestone Sci-Fi celebration this year, raising money for the Rainbow Centre. Sat Oct 5th 2013 - join us if you dare! ZOMBIES:”…just look at the face: it’s vacant with a hint of sadness,…like a drunk who’s lost a bet..... A few zombie walk rules: 1.Get into zombie character: Feel free to scare, but please do not touch, nibble or chew anything living. 2.We are authentic ‘Romero’ zombies, so shuffle, lurch, crawl, groan – no power walking or running (unless crossing the road) 3.Keep together on the walk (follow the leaders)-those straying off the route path are easy pickings to the living 4.And most importantly-enjoy! On the day it will be your contribution that will make the event! “…as Bertrand Russell once said ‘the only thing that will redeem mankind is co-operation’ ..I think we can all appreciate the relevance of that now…” (Shaun aka Guinness Extra Cold beer mat...)
