Why a Fish Spa?
We all suffer from dry skin when it loses its natural lipid layer and often rely on creams and lotions to keep our skin moist and healthy. A Fish Spa however is a totally natural method of achieving healthy and rejuvenated skin. Simply immerse your feet into the warm, refreshing water and the fish will do the rest by sucking away the dead skin to reveal healthy soft skin underneath.
How does it feel?
Sometimes nicknamed the 'nibble fish', the Garra Rufa fish have no teeth and therefore gently suck the skin, giving you a pleasant tickling sensation. The treatment is totally painless. You will just feel a light tingling sensation as you enjoy a relaxing foot massage.
How hygenic and healthy is the treatment?
The treatment is completely safe and hygenic. We will ask you to rinse your feet before we begin and carry out a visual inspection. You will then be directed to your own personal tank. The Spa water in each tank is continually circulated and filtered, and is sterilised up to eight times per hour minimum, ensuring the utmost hygene.
