The Chantry Centre Charity committee comprises of people from local businesses, Members of the Lister Club, Dursley Operatic and Drama Society and other local interested parties.

Dursley and Cam Branch is the main Legion presence in the South of Gloucestershire. Our influence straddles the M5 motorway between junctions 13 and 14. We have about 100 members, a total that has doubled since 2006, of which we will see 25 to 30 attend meetings on a regular basis. We support local Legion and non Legion events as well as organising some of our own. We deliver welfare services for our beneficiaries and we raise money for the Poppy Appeal but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. Everything we do needs to be enjoyable. We have a good spirit of unity and comradeship within the branch and new members are guaranteed a sincere services welcome and a whole bunch of new friends. MOBS (Mothers Offering Breastfeeding Support) is an informal, friendly support group.We have a seating area where you can socialise with other mums and get information from peer supporters. We have a large play mat with toys for younger babies and older children, who are most welcome at the group. There are always hot drinks and biscuits on offer. If you feel you need some privacy, a separate room is available for discussions with our Breastfeeding Specialist Worker. We sell nursing bras and have a good selection to choose from. Bras can be fitted for you by a trained peer supporter. We have a well-stocked library with books that can be borrowed free-of-charge. We have two small electric breast pumps for hire and sell the necessary beaker sets for collecting the milk Expectant mothers who are interested in breast feeding are always welcome. The peer supporters at MOBS are particularly experienced in Baby-led weaning and can offer relevant information including DVDs
