We regularly go on outings to parks, farms and indoor play areas as part of the service which the children love. We pride ourselves on being flexible for parents who work different shifts and who mat regularly need to alter their schedule. (ask for more details) As a childcare establishment, we always look to keep upto date with EYFS and Ofsted, also we update our training to offer the best possible care for children. All staff fully trained in Child protection, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and paediatric first aid. Additional training in characteristics in effective learning and 2 year old development and entitlement.

Based in the North East Animal story provide National Curriculum Based Science and Geography Workshops, using animals to bring the lesson to life. We also cover other venues such as Libraries, Museums, Nurseries, Sure Start Centres and events such as Birthday parties. Our mobile petting zoo is perfect for any event. Billingham Spiritualist Church can be located on Chapel Road near the old green. The building itself was built in the late 1800's and is one of the oldest buildings in the street hence the streets name Chapel Road. The church is affiliated with the SNU therefore follows it's mission statement and the Seven Principles. The services run regularly every week except for bank holidays and at Christmas when those who volunteer to help run the church get a much needed holiday :) The church has a warm friendly atmosphere and all are made welcome.

The Billingham Carnival and Garden Show has grown to become a very popular 2 day event, which is free for the public to attend, and includes rides, a free kiddies corner and a Senior Citizens Café. There are many events for everybody to take part in; to list a few there are the Chrysanthemums and Dahlias Flower Show, and the Vegetable Produce Show, which includes all 14 schools in the Billingham area who participate in this. We host the British Strong Man Championship which is a highlight of the two-day event, and brings in many spectators. We also host a dog show and a variety of other competitions for all age groups to be involved in. The Billingham Carnival & Garden show 2013 will be held on 14th & 15th September.
