We work with hundreds of teachers and group leaders to provide exciting and intelligent experiential and outdoor learning for thousands of children and young people each year at our 4 Centres: Belmont, Broomlee, Dounans and Loaningdale. Some come as pupils with their schools for our set school programme weeks; others come for music or study with our without activities provided by the SOEC outdoor tutor team. As well as schools we welcome youth and community groups, special interest or sports and overseas groups. In addition we also organise holiday activity clubs for individual children during the school holidays. The Centres are also great as a base for special parties, conferences or events.

'' Biggar High School is a secondary school located in the town of Biggar, South Lanarkshire.It is a mixed secondary school of non-denominational religion. The current headteacher is Robert Stewart. The school was most recently inspected by HMIe in November 2007, and generally performed well. In 2008-2009, a new Biggar High School was erected. Pupils and staff were relocated to new school building, situated at the former site of the playing fields on Market Road, in August 2009.A new school building was erected in 2011.
