Behind a big red door on Cross Street is The Abergavenny Natural Therapy Centre. Maxine Smillie took over the Centre in Autumn 2011. Since then the Centre has seen many positive changes. “I want to bring some fresh energy to the Centre” says Maxine “We are currently in the middle of refurbishment and we have some exciting new Therapists starting at the centre. Since the Autumn we have already been involved in the South Wales Alternative Health show, we had a open day in December and a Free Homeopathic Advice session in Holland and Barrett.” Abergavenny Natural Therapy Centre provides professional therapies and healing in the centre of Abergavenny. ACE is supported by funding from the local authority and partner groups. We are aiming for full sustainability by April 2014 and will be providing projects, facilities and schemes that will help us become fully sustainable. We welcome volunteers from any area and we also work closely with young people on a range of youth projects.

Abergavenny Judo Club is run by Paul Addis 2nd Dan. Judo is a Japanese martial art and sport with Olympic reconigtion. You can start Judo at the age of 5 years. Judo is practiced by Boys,Girls,Men and Women.
