We are the Communities and Improvement team within Southampton City Council. We are working with Southampton residents who want to do more locally and help make their local community a better place to live.

Set up in May 2011 Southam First is managed by a board of unpaid directors who have been elected by members. Southam First is the Town Centre Partnership for Southam; an historic market town in Warwickshire. We launched the partnership in May 2011 and we already have over 70 members from local businesses, public sector and community organisations. We do not wish to duplicate existing activity and seek to work in partnership with the myriad groups who already contribute so much to the local community. Our primary focus is on Southam Town Centre and we are concerned with sustaining a buoyant local economy, we appreciate that there are business outside the centre of town and look to include these in our Business Directory which will give anyone looking for a certain type of business a fast track to getting intouch.
