Purley Festival

Purley, Croydon ,
See our EVENTS page here on Facebook & Twitter and website for pre-festival events and fundraisers too for 2013! Purley Festival started in 2011 with a week of events and a one-day festival on the Rotary Fields. In 2012 we had about 6000 visitors and a two day finale on Sat 30th & Sunday, July 1st 2012 with a large music stage, dance stage, acoustic tent and free activities for kids too. Finale was on the Rotary Fields, opposite Christchurch on the Brighton Road, Purley CR8 2BN The aim of Purley Festival is to celebrate our community and the wealth of activities and talent in and around Purley. There are events and activities during the week-long festival and end with a weekend finale at the Rotary Fields on Brighton Road. 22nd June to 30th June 2013 We would like to invite you to help us organise the festival. If you are interested in any activity or organisation and promotion of the event, please let us know. We promote our sponsors and advertisers not only in advertising/programmes but where we can on social media and local press. If you are an individual, club, group, business or organisation that would like to be part of the festival please get in touch. During Festival Week, those taking part will be able to showcase their organisation, business, individual skills or activities. We would like the festival to be fun and interactive and we hope we have lots of workshops and activities that involve all people, young and old. If you would like to appoint a representative to the organising team: please get in touch. info@purleyfestival.co.uk Or phone Fiona on 07594 655528
