The names on the committee for this group are all volunteers giving their time to try to make Lowestoft a better place to live and work and BE. However, we certainly can't do it at all without any of you because this is - obviously - your home too, and getting input from you is paramount. That's why this group was formed, because we know that those who govern this town don't necessarily hear us when dictating how it's going to change. But put enough of those echoes together, put enough voices together and suddenly it isn't a single voice, it's a shout! We can't wave a magic wand and make this town a better place, it's not going to happen overnight but we CAN make it happen if enough of us get together and push for it. We need your knowledge, your support but most of all your voices. We CAN do this! Any questions, let us know and we'll do our best to resolve them. ;)

Activities and Groups run at the Lowestoft Deaf Centre; HAND IN HAND CLUB - For people with dual sensory loss. First Monday of the month. LIP-READING CLASSES - For those wishing to learn lip- reading. Every Wednesday 10-12pm and 1-3pm. COFFEE MORNING- A friendly, social time. Every Thursday 10-11.30am. Lowestoft Museum collects, preserves and displays objects relating to the history of the area and its people, and promotes awareness and interest in our rich heritage.

Peel2Save is the brilliant new fundraising card, launched in the summer of 2011, that is taking the UK by storm. The credit-card sized cards fit neatly into your wallet or purse and each contain 64 (yes really!) peel off coupons – each one promoting a great local business in Lowestoft. The cards cost £10 each but typically contain over £300 of value and every card is sold in aid ofl good causes in Lowestoft. Everything from schools, churches, sports clubs, hospices and other charities are benefitting from Peel2Save Lowestoft

Ludgershall is definitely not in Oxfordshire, but, unfortunately the powers that be have listed our village in the wrong county!

St James, the Parish church of Ludgershall Wiltshire, is on the edge of Salisbury Plain. We belong to the Deanery of Stonehenge and Diocese of Salisbury. Everyone, whether living in our parish or not is invited to our services and other activities. Visitors are especially welcome.
