Started in 1990, mainly music is a fun music group for parents or primary care givers to enjoy together with their young child. Throughout the morning, children develop gross and fine motor skills, language, imagination, mathematical and pre-reading skills as well as socialize with others. Each mainly music is associated with and is run by volunteers from a local church. Children are introduced to music, creativity and more, plus families given a chance to think about the God-part of life. Amazing to think that all this can be achieved in a loving, shared family environment.

My class is suitable for everyone, whether you are a beginner or have some experience. Each class will last for 1hr and 30mins. The class will start with a short relaxation, gentle joint and warm up exercises leading onto some classic Yoga asanas. There will be a short breathing exercise and then we will do approx. 15mins relaxation at the end. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace and ability, there is no competition in Yoga. I will do modifications and variations for all the postures we will be practising, therefore everything we do will be suitable for all levels. I also offer one to one tuition from my private Yoga studio if getting to a class is difficult or maybe not for you. I am currently offering a 5 week introduction to Yoga on a one to one basis for complete beginners for just £50 for the course which has been very successful. Martina

The Garden is a community development and grow your own initiative managed and developed by local people and supported by a range of partners from across the public, private and voluntary sectors. The idea is to support residents and organisations from within the local community who wish to learn or take part in growing collectively. There is also a great opportunity for people to mingle and get to know one another.
