Grimsby & District Archive Club
The Grimsby & District Archive club was set up with the intention of researching, collating and publicly displaying, social history concerning Grimsby, Cleethorpes and the local surrounding areas. The club will not at any time charge members of the public for access to any photographic events, moving picture shows, or for its local history magazine, and any donations received, or payment, such as advertising within its magazine, or for any of the other above mentioned, will be reinvested into the growth of the club for the enhanced benefit of the general public.
The club retains copyright of all images, video footage held within its archive-and will not at any time sell any of its content to either private collectors, or the media. Photographs, video or written word, donated to the club can be done so on either a full copyright donation, or as a limited license donation. It is also the intention of the club to allow and facilitate the availability of its archive to the broadest audience possible, though we do ask that any request to copy magazine content is first submitted to us in writing. And finally we hope that all our projects are enjoyed by all members of the general public, as well as loyal supporters.
