Tribo De Pesada - a project founded by Felix Gibbons, Pepe Barcellos & Fabio Allman - 2 musicians from Rio and one from the UK who started playing as Trio da Pesada in 1999. It means 'The Heavyweight Tribe' - 'da pesada' is Brazilian slang for something really good. Tribo De Pesada has a huge following in Brazil where singer Fabao Allman has popstar status and traditionally closes the famous Rio Carnival singing to nearly half a million people.
