I am a Primary School teacher who has been teaching Forest School for the past 4 years. The Millenium Meadow Forest School has been set up to bring an opportunity for the children in the local area to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe environment. I am running a taster session on Wednesday 17th April between 12.30 and 2.30. This session is free to attend and a chance to come and see what Forest School is all about, ask me some questions and decide whether you would like to join us.
The first block of 5 sessions will run between Wednesday 24th April 2013 and 22nd May.
The next block will be 7 weeks from 5th June until the 17th July.
The cost is £5 per week per child accompanied by a parent/carer or £7.50 per family. There is no charge for under 1s coming along with older siblings. You will need to sign up for a full block of sessions, this is for health and safety reasons as it allows me to start giving the children the choice to start learning how to use tools and cook on a campfire when they are ready.
We are offering WSET Level 1 Award in Wines: The aim of this course is to give a basic introduction to wine followed by some basic food & wine pairing.
Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits: The aim of the course is to focus on the key grape varieties and regions of the world, and principle categories of spirits.
