Do you remember songs and rhymes you heard or sang as a child? Maybe it was Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, or Incy Wincy Spider? Those favourite rhymes and songs often stay with you even as an adult, like jingles used in a television advert. When you sing to a baby or toddler they listen and concentrate by following the words and actions. They even begin to know which ones might come next. As they hear the same sounds and rhythm of songs, poems and jingles over and over again they are already developing their speech and language.
Our sessions are for everyone from 3 months to 5 years and we’ve developed a fun-packed, high-quality experience that babies, children and parents love. Our friendly, relaxed sessions provide an opportunity for families to enjoy singing as a social activity and a chance to meet new friends. Music has been shown to have a huge impact on children's development and it's important to start as early as possible. Listening to music is good, but participating in music-making is even better.
