The Library hires slings and carriers out for up to one month at a time for a fee of £5 per month with a refundable deposit of £30 to cover loss or serious damage (Oxford Sling Library never needed to cash a deposit in the 5 years it has been running so far) I am also running a Consultancy service along side the sling hires as I am a Trageschul UK qualified consultant. I offer one-to-one consultations at £20 for 90 mins or I will be running workshops for up to 3 parent/child couples at £15 per parent. Drayton Baby and Toddler Group is a friendly group run by parents, for parents/carers with children aged 0-5 years. We meet on Thursdays during term time, 9.30-10.30a.m., in Drayton Village Hall (OX14 4LG) and are always happy to welcome new families. Each weekly session offers toddlers the opportunity to explore their creativity, and develop their social skills, through free-play with a wide variety of toys such as a play kitchen; vehicles, a garage and road playmat; a train set; a farm; lego / building blocks; dolls and pushchairs; a dressing-up box; jigsaws, puzzles and books as well as a number of very popular ride-ons and slide! Babies enjoy their time on the soft mat area, where they can play with a wide range of toys or relax in the baby bouncers. Each weekly session also includes snack time for children and adults (provided by our lovely 'tea lady', Joy!), a craft activity and rounds up with a lively singsong. Throughout a year we also organise fundraising events, end-of-term parties and social evenings, as well as invite visitors, such as a photographer, to the group.
