Opened in spring 2010, this spectacular 4-star addition to the Cornish hotel scene nestles within a mature 43-acre Victorian woodland estate just south of St Austell, adjacent to many of Cornwall's main attractions.

For the 15 years prior to opening Sew Là Là I had been a full time Mum to my 3 fantastic children who are now all at secondary school, with my eldest more frighteningly just about to leave I knew that by the time my youngest had joined secondary school, it would be time for me to return to work The big question was ~ doing what??? During the previous few years I had spent a lot of time thinking about what I would do within the world of work & considered a lot of options One nagging thought that kept returning though, was that I would really love to have my own fabric shop as I’d loved sewing as a hobby from about the age of seven & had a thing about fabric since my teens I decided that as we only live once I should just give my fabric shop dream a go instead of merely thinking about it & creating reasons not to give it a go In April 2011 following a very short 2 months of preparation I launched Sew Là Là, it was such a surreal feeling & I still felt back then very much like I was dreaming However, after many months of very long hours I am now beginning to feel as though I might actually be starting to live the dream instead of just dreaming it Over time I have slowly increased my fabrics’ from the initial 11 rolls, added new ranges, custom built & custom rebuilt my own website from scratch & met some really kind & amazing people as my customers

Richard is a published fine-art photographer & digital artist based in Cornwall, UK. He specialises in fine-art portraits and landscapes, as well as commercial and architecture work. His latest Limited Edition Collection is titled "Zenscapes" which are stunning abstract beach scenes, sunrises and sunsets. The original Zenscapes Collection began in 2009 and are now being made available in Limited Editions. These beautiful images are produced in two Editions & Sizes. The large size Editions are 8 feet x 4 feet, the smaller size Editions are 4 feet x 2 feet. They are produced onto high quality Aluminium. All prints are signed, numbered and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. They are supplied with invisible fixings which give them the appearance of floating on the wall. Insured Courier delivery will be provided at cost, or you are welcome to collect your Limited Edition in person from Richard in Cornwall. All Zenscapes are printed and manufactured in Cornwall, where possible.
