We're an informal cafe and bar by day; then as the sun sets, the tea lights are lit, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Perched on the harbourside in the picturesque village of Porthleven, our glass fronted doors lead onto a terrace with panoramic views over the harbour and its fishing boats. We delicately prepare our beautiful food to order and serve it with a variety of carefully selected wines in a stunning surrounding. Open seven days a week in the summer, we offer food from 12pm right through to last orders at 9.30pm. From the 1st July, our fantastic breakfast menu will be served on the weekend from 10am – 12pm.

Each bead is handmade in my cornish studio, fully annealed and cleaned and offered for sale or used in my own jewellery for sale. I also work with copper to electroform items which in turn are used in my original jewellery.

The Shellfisherman is a small business with a simple philosophy. 'I have been a fisherman making a livelihood from the sea since I was a boy, following in the tradition of my Cornish fishing family. I want to offer you the opportunity to buy Cornish lobster and crab straight from the fisherman who harvests them, so that you can enjoy this fantastic local seafood at its best.'
