Goldstraw Farm
Goldstraw farm is located in the heart of Ness village,between the town of Neston and the village of Burton. The yard is a small and friendly establishment with a number of DIY livery stables. The pasture has amazing views over the Dee Estuary to North Wales. The yard is ideally situated for the fantastic bridleway on the Wirral Way, which is a short hack along a couple of quiet roads. It is popular with horse owners that want a quiet, pretty, no frills but comfortable accommodation for their horse or pony. There is a real mix on the yard in terms of type and age of the resident ponies and this is also reflected in the owners, who all come from different walks of life with different levels of experience. There are people who drive in addition to riding. There is always someone to offer help and advice when it's needed. Goldstraw farm is owned by a local couple who really see the advantage of offering people good quality affordable stabling, and are themselves horse lovers, which makes all the difference.
