Temples is a business built on firm foundations of local knowledge, specialist expertise and an unwavering commitment to the highest standards of customer care.
Our Story So Far
The first Temples office was opened in Nantwich by Roy Kitchen in 2001, followed by Chester in 2003 which is run by Kevin Swire. Three years later Roy’s daughter Natalie and her husband Gary opened Northwich, closely followed by the formation of a Crewe office in 2007, run by Alex Kemp and Roy. Each of our offices operates independently, but pools knowledge, skills and resources where this will benefit our customers.
We all live in the local area so have excellent knowledge of the geography and property market across the mid and south Cheshire, North Staffordshire, North Wales and Wirral region, so we can help investor landlords make decisions about which properties to buy, and support tenants in finding the right location in which to live. We’ve a strong track record in helping people relocate to the area.
This local knowledge also means we have excellent support from a number of local firms who carry out maintenance work reliably and cost-effectively.
Our Approach
The fact that we are independent – not tied to a large franchise or an add-on to an estate agency – means our service can be flexed to meet the individual needs of our customers, whatever their circumstances. All our people are empowered to make decisions on behalf of customers, so can provide timely responses in your best interests.
Importantly, many of the directors and staff members are or have been landlords or tenants, so we really do understand our business from every perspective. We truly understand the impact that property and tenancy issues can have, and this drives our high standards as we know how important it is to have a good agent on your side.

We are committed to ensuring we remain up-to-date with the most recent legislation in relation to the lettings industry and act as trusted advisors to our landlords. We continually invest in professional development and many of our directors and team are currently undertaking Residential Lettings and Management courses to ensure best practice.
