Does your animal have back pain?
Just like humans, animals can suffer from back related problems which can adversely affect their behaviour, performance and overall health. I mainly treat horses and dogs but all animals can be treated.
Back pain can be from a ‘one off event’ such as a fall or it can be caused by another injury or process and built up over a period of time. Chronic issues can often occur as compensation for other problems such as foot pain, ill-fitting tack, rider imbalance, dental issues etc.
How does a McTimoney treatment help?
The treatment is gentle, holistic, non-invasive and helps realign and balance the animal's musculo-skeletal system. Each vertebrae, bone in the spine has an optimal range of movement. If this joint movement is reduced then the body tries to compensate for the under-performing joint.
