Keston Park

Keston Park

Since its foundation over 80 years ago Keston Park has developed a reputation as one of the UK’s most prestigious and exclusive private residential estates. Situated equidistantly between Bromley, Orpington and Biggin Hill, the 207 homes on Keston Park display the highest architectural and spatial standards and command some of the highest valuations in the South East. Keston Park was established in 1923 by the property developer, Frederick Rogers, who purchased 142 acres of virgin woodland from the Earl of Derby’s Holwood Estate, close to the village of Locksbottom. Rogers wanted to create a residential environment that would harmonise perfectly with the outstanding natural beauty of the woodland. He realised this vision by selling large plots for individually designed homes with restrictive covenants in place to ensure the design, size, use and landscaping of each property would always respect and complement the natural landscape. These covenants, which have been rigorously enforced since the 1920’s, preserve the qualities that have given Keston Park its unique status and reputation. The result is that Frederick Rogers’ idyllic description of Keston Park in 1923 still holds true today - “Homes situated amidst ideal surroundings within the privacy of what is unquestionably the most beautiful residential estate south of the Thames”.
