In 1973 after 10 years of restoration work by the Rotary Club, the English Tourist Board gave a grant to cover the cost of completing the remaining restoration work. This included converting the adjoining farmhouse into a Tea Rooms and Craft Centre with additional funding from Ilfracombe Urban District Council. The restoration work was masterminded by Glanville Pedlar & Glanville's son, Richard, a Bristol architect, drew up the plans. The restoration work was completed in June 1975.

I have been ‘arty’ since I was small and over the years I have dabbled in all sorts of crafts, picking up equipment, materials and techniques along the way. For years I found that if I wanted unusual and unique gifts and cards for friends and family, something that will really stand out from the crowd, the best solution was to make it myself! With my children at school and more time on my hands I’m ready to put my crafts and my love of the environment together.
