Quick Click Animal Training

Quick Click Animal Training

Wilder Road, Ilfracombe ,
I started my career in animal training working within the zoo industry with california sea lions. Ever seen a dolphin or a sea lion show and wondered how the trainers achieve such amazing results from their animals? certainly not with punishment! you wouldn't dream of inflicting pain or discomfort on an animal quite capable of killing you yet we still use forcefull training methods with our family pets or horses. All marine mammal training is based on mutual trust between animal and trainer and all the amazing behaviours you see in shows are shaped using possitive reinforcement. Why have a dog that complies because he is scared of an aversive consequence if he doesnt when you could have an animal that wants to behave for you because he enjoys your interaction and is keen to earn a reward, be it praise, toys or a tasty treat! So throw out the spray bottles, shock collars and choke chains and book quick click animal training for all your pets training needs!
