The Plough Ifield are a new club playing in the 4th tier of the Redhill & District Saturday League. Located in Ifield near Gatwick the club will be aiming to bring home 3 cups in the 2009-2010 season.

A lovely holiday cottage conveniently located between the popular Dales market towns of Skipton and Settle in the traditional village of Hellifield is Railwayman’s Cottage. This traditional terraced stone cottage dates back to the 1870’s, and was built by the Midland Railway Company to house railway employees. Hellifield is a friendly Dales community and is well served with shops, a pub, a Post Office, and the station at Hellifield is quite remarkable with its impressive glass canopy roof, and a café which opens daily. Here you can hop onto the Settle to Carlisle railway in just a two minute walk. The cottage itself offers spacious accommodation for 4 guests in two large bedrooms. There are two reception rooms, a well equipped kitchen with access to a private enclosed garden with stunning views over open countryside. Railwayman’s Cottage is ideal for walking and cycling, and there is a shed providing secure storage for bicycles. The village of Hellifield is conveniently situated just 6 miles from the popular market town of Settle which is just a ten minute train or car ride away. Settle is a wonderful place for shopping with its old-fashioned family-run stores housed within some quaint 18th and 19th-century buildings. Travel just 10 miles East of Hellifield and you will arrive in Skipton (The Gateway to the Dales) with its magnificent Norman Castle, and the famous Bolton Castle nearby. Hellifield would make the ideal base for exploring Wharfdale, home of the Yorkshire three peaks. Malham Cove is close by and is one of Britain’s most impressive natural features. The quaint village of Malham offers a warm welcome with its tearooms and pubs, ideal for enjoying refreshments after a walk in this inspiring area of Yorkshire.

Hellifield House is a friendly and traditional village club (none members always welcome) positioned in the Yorkshire Dales village of Hellifield, between the market towns of Skipton and Settle, offering a selection of well maintained ales, spirits,and soft drinks. You will always feel a friendly and warm atmosphere on entering from locals and visitors alike. The Club stocks a wide range of high quality beers from Tetley. They include Tetley Smooth Flow,Tetley Mild and Teltley Cask Bitter in addition to Carlsberg, Tuborg and Holston Lager and Strongbow Cider to complete the draught beers. In addition a special cask condition guest ale is available each month (first come first served basis !). Also available are a range of bottle beers and Guinness in chilled cans, wines by the glass as well as a full range of top name spirits. All drinks are competitively priced. Hellifield House offers a range of facilities and entertainment including: BIG SCREEN ENTERTAINMENT at the Club features all major sporting events from SKY, ESPN, BBC, and ITV all in High Definition-- so don't miss your favourite sports from Olympics ,Wimbledon, the Grand National to Rugby Union, Rugby League and the whole range of Football competitions across Europe as well as Cricket from around the world -- and the very latest Sky Sport News too. It is available on a first come first served basis, with a £15 reservation fee.
