We are open Monday - Saturday from Noon until Midnight and Sundays Noon until 10.30pm. Food is available on Monday - Saturday from 12.30pm untill 2.30pm from 2.30pm - 6pm there is a snack menu, and from 6pm - 9pm full menu. Sundays full menu from 12.30pm - 5pm. If you wish to eat after these times we offer a range of snack boxes to eat in or take away. The Bell Inn has a pool table, two dart boards and a juke box with a broad selection of music for all tastes. The “Painted Room” is used for concerts, live music and discos. We hold regular Food “Theme” Nights in there. It is also available for functions, meetings etc. The Bell regularly offers live music in the main bar, with occasional Quiz and Karaoke nights.

Beautiful, two-bedroomed holiday cottage in the 13th century village of North Bovey in Dartmoor National Park. Built for lovebirds, the cottage has oak-beamed walls, log fires and sheepskin rugs, shimmering wallpapers, ornate mirrors and a huge copper bath for two. Romantic touches include Molton Brown toiletries, fluffy dressing gowns and slippers, scented candles and freshly cut flowers. Guests have complimentary membership of Bovey Castle country club, with its spa, pool, tennis courts and golf course.

The Hotel dates back to 1639 and this historic Grade II listed building is being sympathetically refurbished to provide all modern comforts within a traditional setting. Our comfy sofa-filled lounge has a roaring log fire where you can relax and combine the delights of a traditional cream tea with the convenience of free wi-fi. An ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area of Devon, the White Hart has 20 well-appointed bedrooms in the main hotel and a further eight in a separate mews building. Our restaurant features the freshest local, seasonal produce cooked in a style that lets the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves. A free house, we stock a range of local real ales and have a hand-picked wine list. Dartmoor is great walking country and dogs are welcome everywhere in the hotel, except in the dining room.

Moretonhampstead Development Trust opened the doors to Green Hill for the first time on Saturday 10 December 2011 to a stunning transformation of the old school building into an extensive, mixed-use community resource. The attractive Victorian schoolhouse now incorporates a contemporary art gallery also selling arts and crafts in the foyer, heritage displays and archive, a number of purpose-built artist’s studios, a large dedicated youth centre and offices. Green Hill attracts a diverse audience to enjoy a programme that nourishes the arts and crafts community of Dartmoor and encourages visitors from far and wide to engage in contemporary visual art.

We are a traditional fish and chip shop, offering fish and chips, kebabs, pizza's and burgers. We cater for single orders, parties and events with the facility to eat in or take away. Car parking is only about 100 yards from our shop and is free for 6 months of every year.
