Hadlow’s iconic Grade 1* Listed Tower is a 19th century Romantic Gothic folly. After 12 years of campaigning and two years of restoration Hadlow Tower is now open for visits. Climb to the top of the 130ft high Hadlow Tower (be aware that there are over 100 spiral steps in a void) and see the spectacular views. There is also an exhibition centre on the ground floor with videos, a 3D virtual model and explanatory display boards about the history of Hadlow Castle, the people who lived there, the surrounding countryside and how the Tower was restored. Opening times are restricted to Thursdays only between now and the 5th of September 2013. There are four tours a day, 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm To book your place on a tour visit the website or turn up at the gate and take a chance!
