Bertie’s produce a wide range of sustainable Kent wood fuel, including kiln dried firewood, well seasoned logs, kindling and wood briquettes. Bertie's deliver locally to Crowborough, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and surrounding villages. Bertie's also deliver firewood to London and the rest of the UK mainland.

We are a Village cricket club On a Saturday we have two teams playing in the Kent County Village League. Our Sunday team plays friendly matches. We do not employ professional cricketers.

In short we are a social running group, aimed at getting runners (that’s you!) of all abilities outside and enjoying running, enjoying the countryside and enjoying yourself. We are not a running club, so we are not looking to be competitive or to break any records, the group is there to act as motivation and support for those that want it.

Hadlow’s iconic Grade 1* Listed Tower is a 19th century Romantic Gothic folly. After 12 years of campaigning and two years of restoration Hadlow Tower is now open for visits. Climb to the top of the 130ft high Hadlow Tower (be aware that there are over 100 spiral steps in a void) and see the spectacular views. There is also an exhibition centre on the ground floor with videos, a 3D virtual model and explanatory display boards about the history of Hadlow Castle, the people who lived there, the surrounding countryside and how the Tower was restored. Opening times are restricted to Thursdays only between now and the 5th of September 2013. The bar area is snug and inviting, with an open fire and wooden beams adding to the rustic atmosphere. There is an extensive number of drinks offered in the bar, including the ever-changing roster of ales.
