The White Horse Hadleigh
The white horse is situated on the outskirts of Hadleigh in central Suffolk, within easy reach of many beautiful Suffolk towns and villages such as Lavenham, Stowemarket and Needham market, Sudbury and of course Ipswich. At the White Horse we offer great food, wines and beers in spacious comfortable surroundings.
It has to be noted that there is a definite French influence to the menu, this is only natural with Patrice at the helm. Patrice comes to us from Calais, and brings with him that bit of French ‘je ne sais quoi’.
The pub has a number of defined areas. These make for great private parties and functions or to just settle in to enjoy the many fine dishes on offer.
The Garden room can seat up to 50 people. With the Bar area adjacent and on a slightly higher level this number can be boosted to 75. The Bar and Garden room are decorated in a contemporary style suiting the architecture, whilst the front rooms of the venue have the more traditional ‘olde worldy’ decor of oak beams and low ceilings, wonderfully cosy with the wood burner roaring away on a cold autumnal night.
The Den neatly tucked away seats up to 12 and is the ideal for a romantic dinner or a family gathering.
The breakfast room, has the feel of a street cafe where many customers take morning coffee and enjoy the freshly baked cakes on offer.
The light and airy bar area has lovely comfy sofas, enjoy a crisp chardonnay, a clean fresh pint of Adnams or an after dinner coffee, you won’t want to go home!
