Active Diving
I am a multi-skilled diving instructor with years of experience. This experience comes from over 11 years instructional experience and over 16 years of scuba diving. I have found over the years that an ability to relate to students both at a technical level but also personally has meant that I can ensure that my students are always getting the most value out of their chosen course and as a result enjoy their diving more. This unique way of relating information to each person makes it easy to get the fundamentals across.
Throughout my teaching career I have taught around the world as well as being operations manager and course coordinator for two leading South West, UK dive training schools, this has meant I have taught at all levels of diver training which has formed the foundations of my success as a scuba instructor.
During my diving career I have been fortunate enough to dive with some of the leading technical divers in the world, for both pleasure and in a working capacity. This is a result of being involved in teaching as well as projects and expeditions.
My instructor credentials are also supported by other relevant experience such as being a boat skipper since the age of 13 and at 18 I became a RYA Powerboat Instructor, working for an independent lifeboat station in the Solent.
