The project was supported by LEADER I, Department of Agriculture for Northern Ireland, Rural Development Council and the International Fund for Ireland. Nine derelict properties were leased in the Glens of Antrim with the aim of renovating them into self-catering accommodation. Owners were able to lease their properties to the Company for 20 years. We have developed further since in the mid 1990s and now provide an online booking facility for the private sector, selling self catering holidays. The Company not only acts as a booking facility for small business owners but also helps advise these owners establish their business and provide much needed practical support to get them up and running. We are using our experience to ensure that the area is promoted and that holiday makers are choosing to take a break in the Glens of Antrim. The Company has a small turnover, existing to provide local employment and to increase the tourism revenue in the local economy.
