Jewellery design and creation, mainly in silver, with semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals, for both women and men, with wedding accessories a speciality. Many pieces are bespoke, so are made to the client's specifications with lots of my design input and advice. Wedding designs range from the more traditional through vintage to quirky, and from simple to elaborate, all with serious attention to detail and quality. I scour antique markets for unusual and beautiful findings, old coins and stones to include as 'something old' in your wedding jewellery or as inspiration for a new piece. Designs can also incorporate something personal to the client, either as a discrete inclusion or with the whole piece designed around it. I also like to incorporate sea glass or other found objects in my jewellery and I use precious metal clay to make unique fine silver pendants and beads, taking inspiration from the natural things around us, such as the way water ripples over a stone. I like to make my own clasps, links and earwires to add another layer of individuality.

Kirton Kayaks is a family business based in the UK, directed by Peter Cockram (above). We specialise in making hand-made kayaks to market leading standards. In fact, our boats are renowned for being incredibly rugged and long-lasting, which is why they're the number one choice for club use. They are surprisingly lightweight too, and our K1 racing kayaks rarely clock in over 12kg, even if you opt for our cheapest construction. The majority of our boats are designed from scratch by David Green (below), one of the founding members of the company. There's a wide range available, for paddlers of all abilities and we're proud to be able to offer something truly original to the market. We're constantly working on new deigns so keep checking back to see what's in the pipe-line. It's not all about Sprint and Marathon Kayaks, though. We also work closely with Rob Feloy, designer of many sea kayaks including the popular C-Trek. Together we've created formidable custom craft. One of our greatest achievements came in seeing Peter Bray safely across the North Atlantic on the first ever solo unassisted kayak crossing.

Our greeting cards are hand-made using high-quality photographs of beautiful flowers and scenery. £1 from the sale of each card goes to charity.
