About Astleys
Astleys is a family owned and managed business enjoying its 275th year in business. We were established in 1730 and in 2005 we moved from our Gosford Street premises, where we had been since 1939, to new 30,000 square foot premises on the Coventry Business Park, just off the A45.
We have over 4,000 customers from all types of operations, from national logistics companies, local schools and colleges, pubs and clubs, large blue-chip engineering and manufacturing companies, councils and building works departments to plumbers, electricians and carpenters. Astleys have a range of over 15,000 products across a huge spectrum of categories. These products are held in stock so that we can supply you when you need the goods. We have specialists who have worked for the business for many years and offer our valued customers advice and recommendations that are based on real experience. Our team is passionate about service and making sure that we deliver our best, every time. We're very proud of our 275 years, we feel privileged to have customers whose businesses have used us for generations.

Stock
Unlike some of our competitors who have huge product offerings in massive colour catalogues, WE HAVE THE STOCK. 98% of deliveries are made the next day. If you need something - you need it. Basic, yes, but it's no good waiting for your supplier to get products in stock before they can deliver it to you. As an example, we have a stock of nearly 5,000 pairs of safety shoes, boots and wellingtons at any moment. We're always ready to supply you when you need it.
Pricing
You can always get stuff cheaper than where you're currently buying, we all know that and Astleys will never be the cheapest place for some products.
But...
...and its a big but, we will save you money. If you let us, we can advise on products that'll save you money time and time again. We offer free site audits on all kinds of product; paper, soap, slip risks, signage, hearing and respiratory protection, even power tools. The majority of our staff have been with us for over ten years and the experience they have saves our customers money, time and effort. Of course, sometimes unit price is the only thing that matters, so if you use something in volume, regularly please talk to us, we will try to better your target price, but you can always be certain that our service levels will never fail.
Choice
Sometimes we get calls from customers who admit to having tried several places before they've rung us and are amazed that we can help. Don't be amazed - just ring us first! Even if we don't have the product you want in stock, we'll move heaven and earth to find it.
Range
We stock a vast range of products. It's a well known fact that cutting down the number of orders you place will save you money, less orders, fewer invoices, less administration.
Delivery
Astleys offer a free delivery service in our delivery area on all orders above £75 plus VAT. Whatever the item, wherever it has to go, normally we'll get it to you within 3 days.
