Clacton on Sea Royal British Legion
I would like to let you know that we have in the town a thriving Branch of the Royal British Legion.
There is no need to have served in the Armed Forces to join the Clacton on Sea Branch and you will be welcome to take part in our meetings and events
The branch has around 127 members and is growing every year with new members from the Town and the surrounding area.
The Branch meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month starting at 7.30 pm. Upstairs in the Comrades club, with the bar opening before and after the meetings.
There are many events organised by the branch,
Dinner and Dance Night,
Social nights
Days Outings
Christmas Party and many more.
We have four qualified county Caseworkers Ready to respond to requests for assistance from Ex and current Service Personnel.
The Legion is the major voice for Service and Ex-Service personnel throughout the year. We campaign and lobby on a wide range of issues, including mental and physical health, housing and homelessness, employment, community and adult care, disability, skills development and
