Christchurch Sea Cadets
The Sea Cadets is a national youth organisation for boys and girls aged 10 - 18.
The aim of the Sea Cadets is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines.
Through adventurous activities cadets become self-reliant, confident, and through team work cadets develop consideration and respect for others. We encourage high personal standards and a sense of purpose, and we provide a sound foundation for future careers, no matter what it may be.
If you’re interested in joining us for some fun and unforgettable experiences, your local Sea Cadet unit is
Christchurch Sea Cadets, and we are looking for young people who love to keep busy, learn new things, meet new friends and most of all… have a great time!
We are also recruiting for any adult volunteers who are able to help our unit in any way. We just ask for you to be responsible and we will provide you with any necessary training. Anyone with any naval/sea background/knowledge would be fantastic to help our charity go from strength to strength.
