Lily's Barn

Greenacres Farm, Fowlswick Lane, Allington , Chippenham ,
We are pleased to offer a unique day boarding experience for your dog/s. All of our dogs have access to their own barn which has been recently renovated to our specification. The barn has excellent quality bedding, toys and fresh water and there is free access to and from the barn into secure paddocks for the dogs to run and play in at their leisure. The dogs are able to socialise with other dogs and are cared for in separate play areas in small groups of up to 5. This is a great alternative to having a dog walker visit your dog for relatively short periods during the day as they will receive constant attention at our barn which is staffed at all times. Our team actively interact with our dogs, instigating retrieving games, agility exercises and even basic training if required. In addition to the activities at the barn, all dogs are walked off site in local woods and farmland in their small social groups. You can be assured your dog will have a full active day in your absence, will receive plenty of attention and interaction with other dogs before returning home at the end of the day, tired, relaxed and happy! We arrange an introductory meeting at the barn before you leave your dog with us for the day to ensure they are happy to be left and can socialise with other dogs. For dogs who are older, timid or nervous, we will be able to provide your dog with a private pen so he can watch the activity in his own space and join in when he feels ready and confident. We welcome dgos of all ages, including small puppies who develop well in the day care environment. They are often able to play and socialise with other young dogs/puppies where they learn all the skills necessary to grow up to be a well behaved, confident dog. The daily rate includes collection and drop off from your home in our fully equipped vans. Each dog will be collected between 8am and 10am and will be returned home between 4pm and 6pm. Lily’s Barn is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please contact us to arrange a visit to the barn where we will show you around the facility and discuss your dogs requirements. We carry out individual or group walks (up to a maximum of 4 dogs) lasting for half an hour to an hour. This service is flexible and walks may be as frequent or as long or short depending on what suits your dog and their lifestyle. Group walks are ideal for those dogs that need plenty of exercise. Our walks are varied and include routes through local woodland and farms in Grittleton, Kington St Michael, Allington and Stanton St Quintin to name a few. Longer walks are also enjoyed through the Castle Combe and Slaughterford valleys. All our routes are within safe distances from roads and traffic which means we are able to exercise your dog off the lead if this suits your dog. Any restrictions or instructions you wish us to abide by will be discussed at an initial visit and adhered to at all times. Quieter, individual walks can be enjoyed by dogs who enjoy a more relaxed pace of life.
