Shabby Paws
Now owned by Andrea. Jo previously ran a dog walking and small pet boarding business previously known as PAWtesbery Pets in 2005 (not to be mistaken for PAWs and PETs) In 2010 Jo decided to change the name Shabby Paws (as it fitted with Jo and Andreas personalities) in 2011 Jo fell pregnant and needed help with the dogs in here care. Jo and Andrea have known each other for 19 years and Andrea would often join Jo on her lunch time walks so she knew many of the dogs previously to joining Shabby Paws, it seemed like the perfect solution for Andrea to join Shabby Paws in 2011. Since Joining Shabby Paws has grown from strength to strength and the dogs and customers love her!

to walk my two dogs Luna and Harvey every day since the day they were old enough
to join me in the big wide world. Whether it be in the summer or winter months
we have enjoyed many walks together and I couldn’t bare the idea of having to
give them over to someone each day who would not treat them as I would at home.

If your dog likes to be on the
lead or off the lead, play with their ball, swim, play with other dogs etc…..we
can give them what they enjoy ALL the time they are on their walks. We are happy to walk any size or age of dog and if they just want a slow relaxed walk we are happy to do that too. It is really important to us that you dog is happy,
especially when they are with the Shabby Paws team.
We offer an hour walk specifically catered to their needs. We never walk more than four-six dogs at a time and group our dogs up appropriately so they get to walk with similar dogs that they get on with. Your dog will travel safely in our 4x4 cars, purposely kitted out for transporting any dog - we don’t have cages. With your permission dogs may be walked off the lead but for the first walk each dog will be an lead so that they can to get used to walking with us and gain our trust
Your dog will be picked up from your home and taken to (your choice) of walk whether it be the park or in the woods. The walk starts as soon as their paws hit the woods/park not from when we pick them up from your home! When they have been walked we will return them to your home, make sure they are clean, check that they have water and food if needed put them safely back in their
beds. Special extra arrangements can be made at the time of contract
signing.

1/2 hour walk: £9

2nd dog (from same household): additional £4
Pop-in
Service (approx 20 mins.): £8 per visit

Please
note:
Dog walking times are NOT from the arrival at your house but from when
your dog is enjoying his first run in the park or woods. (not all dog walkers do
this…but I think it is only fare that your dog gets his full hours hour…overwise
they wont be satisfied!) After a good hours walk I will then return them home
safely where after all they playing they will probably be ready for an afternoon
snooze!
*Prices quoted above are Monday to Friday in daylight hours,
excluding bank holidays.
Weekends can be covered for regular weekday
dogs but only by special arrangement.
Bookings cancelled within 24
hours will be charged at 50% rate.
Very large dogs or dogs with problems or dogs who are difficult to handle may be charged
extra.
